In this first session of our new Speaker Series, Dr. Zohar Raviv, International VP of Educational Strategy for Birthright Israel, will speak on the topic of Jewish & Israel Education in the 21st Century: Assets and Challenges. The lecture itself should last between 30 to 45 minutes and then be followed by a round of Q&A.

Prof. Gil Troy is the chair of Birthright Israel's Education Committee and will speak about the program's latest areas of focus: Sustainability, Mental Health & Wellness, Ritual, the Ongoing Journey, and Gratitude. Prof. Troy is an author, historian, and Zionist activist. He co-authored his latest book: Never Alone: Prison, Politics and My People with Natan Sharansky.
